How to get Icy Feet in Fortnite: Winterfest 2021 challenge

The holiday season is finally here and Fortnite is ready to celebrate the festivities. Live now it's the return of a popular promotion, as Fortnite Winterfest 2021 is up and running.

Featured along with the themed event are challenges for players to complete, unlocking XP and other rewards. These can be crucial to progressing the battle pass as the XP can help to clear levels fast.

One of the new Winterfest 2021 challenges tasks players to "Travel 200 meters with Icy Feet." Here's how to get Icy Feet in Fortnite Chapter 3 and complete the Winterfest 2021 challenge.

How to get Icy Feet in Fortnite - Chapter 3 Winterfest

There are multiple methods to acquire Icy Feet in Fortnite Chapter 3, and both will allow you to travel with them and complete the Winterfest 2021 challenge. To get Icy Feet in Fortnite:

• Destroy a Snowman anywhere on the Fortnite map
• Acquire a Chiller Grenade and shoot a blast at your own feet

It's certainly more practical to just find and destroy a Snowman, as they are scattered all throughout the current Chapter 3 Fortnite map. There is a plentiful grouping of Snowmen in the Southeast corner of the map location on the basketball court.

Chiller Grenades can be found in loot chests, as well as picked up from the loot drop of an eliminated player.

How to travel with Icy Feet in Fortnite Chapter 3

Once you have Icy Feet in Fortnite Chapter 3, you need to travel up to 200 meters with them to complete the Winterfest 2021 challenge. The Icy Feet can be a bit difficult to maneuver at first, so an easy way to check off the challenge is to stand on top of a slope and allow yourself to slide right down with the Icy Feet.

Once you've completed a total distance of at least 200 meters with the Icy Feet, the challenge will pop. Completing seven of the Winterfest challenges will unlock the Snowmando Board Glider. Players who complete 10 challenges will receive the Frosty Back Bling.
