How to get Obi-Wan Kenobi in Fortnite

It's time for another exciting collaborative drop in Fortnite as Epic Games continues to cross over into the world of entertainment. The next big arrival will be another Star Wars legend, as fans will have the chance to get a legendary Jedi character.

How to get Obi-Wan Kenobi skin in Fortnite

Beginning Thursday, 26th May 2022, at 8 pm ET (1 am GMT on 27th May) the Obi-Wan Kenobi Outfit will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop alongside an Obi-Wan Back Bling, Pickaxe, Glider, and more.

The timing certainly makes sense for Epic Games to release the content on the evening of the 26th, as on 27th May Disney will release their brand new series Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Here's what's included in the Fortnite Obi-Wan Kenobi drop on 27th May:

• Obi-Wan Kenobi Outfit
• Desert Essentials Back Bling (included with the Outfit): An assortment of tools perfect for living an isolated existence on a remote desert planet.
• Obi-Wan’s Blade Pickaxe: An ol’ reliable partner.
• Jedi Interceptor Glider: Your new fighter has arrived.
• Obi-Wan’s Message Emote: An important transmission…
• Kenobi, Surrounded Loading Screen (available via purchase of the bundle)

There is no word yet on the pricing of the Obi-Wan Kenobi content, but expect both bundle and individual purchasing options. The bundle should cost anywhere between 1,000-2,500 V-Bucks and individual item pricing will vary based on that.

Fortnite Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup

On 22nd May, Epic Games will host the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup for some high-level Duos Battle Royale competition. Competitors can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window, and the specific event timing for each region can currently be found in the Compete tab in-game.

Top performers in the competition will earn the Obi-Wan Kenobi Outfit and Desert Essentials Back Bling as rewards before they go live in the Fortnite Item Shop. Scoring for the tournament can be found on the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup Official Rules page.
