Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 is ending, and Epic Games has confirmed a live event will happen at the end of it. However, in a surprising turn of events, the long-rumored upcoming event is not just Season 4's live event but a Chapter 3 Finale Event called Fracture, which makes the next Fortnite season - Chapter 4 Season 1.
But before Chapter 4 Season 1 arrives, fans have the Fortnite Chapter 3 Finale Event to look forward to. Fortnite has hosted some incredible live events, and fans expect nothing less from this upcoming one. As of this writing, Epic has yet to reveal more concrete details about this event. The Fortnite 'Fracture' Chapter 3 Finale event starts soon.
Remember that other playlists will be disabled before 'Fracture' is available.
- Creative games, Save The World, and Party Royale will be disabled at 2:00 PM ET
- Competitive playlists will be disabled at 3:00 PM ET
- Doors open for the Fracture playlist at 3:25 PM ET
Accordion to various sources this morning, Fortnite Chapter 4 will go live on Sunday December 4.
So players are going to have to contend with the maximum 12 hours of Server downtime!

Epic Games continue to tease the Fracture finale event by releasing another artwork for it.

It seems, Fortnite leakers got access to the AES keys for all encrypted files and leaked screenshots, audio files, sketches, and more of the Fracture event.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Fracture event: Start time
Fortnite Chapter 3 Fracture Finale Event will kick off on 3rd December 2022 at 4 PM ET / 1 PM PT / 9 PM GMT.
Epic Games confirmed the news during the final day of the FNCS Invitational event.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 began on 5th December 2021 and will conclude nearly one year after it, making it the shortest Fortnite Chapter in history.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Fracture event: Rewards
Players who participate in the Fracture live event will get the Zero Fragment Back Bling as a reward. Furthermore, players who log into the game from 2nd December to 4th December will get the Toasty Roast Emote.
The most recent Collision event offered players a free new loading screen and a music track, so fans could expect something of that caliber in this upcoming event as well.
Before the Fortnite Chapter 2 live event, Epic Games held a 'Power Leveling' weekend that allowed players to earn bonus XP during that period. A Similar bonus XP weekend could also happen this time around, especially since there are a ton of super-style rewards to unlock.
Fortnite Chapter 3 Fracture event: What to expect
In Chapter 3 Season 4, the island is covered in Chrome, with Herald controlling this mysterious blob. Fans could expect to finally take down Herald and its companion, The Nothing, alongside Paradigm and save the island from the mysterious viscous entity.
It's also heavily rumored and speculated that Midas would make a comeback at the event though fans have to wait a little longer to find out.
That said, this isn't just a finale event for Season 4, but rather the entirety of Chapter 3, so expect to see more familiar faces like The Foundation or Jonesy.
Fortnite is famous for hosting visually enthralling action-packed live events. The Collision event showcased an epic battle between the Mecha Strike Commander and IO forces. The Fortnite Chapter 2 Live Event had the loopers fight against the evil cube and a horde of zombies and UFOs that seemed right out of a sci-fi movie.
