Where to find Mythic Weapons in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 makes plenty of fundamental changes to the game. For instance, there is now a no building mode called Fortnite Zero Build. There are also new powerful weapons for you to use, and finding them is equally challenging and rewarding.

Aside from exotic weapons, Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 introduces three new mythic weapons. There are extremely powerful versions of the Thermal Rifle, Stinger SMG, and Striker Burst Rifle. Read our guide to find out exactly how and where you can get your hands on them.

Mythic Weapons locations in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Mythic Stinger SMG -Command Cavern

To get the Mythic Stinger SMG, you have to beat Gunnar in Command Cavern. This can be a pretty challenging fight unless you are careful.

We recommend using a sniper to do headshot damage since there are plenty of vantage points in the boss arena for you to deal damage from a safe distance.

Mythic Striker Bust Rifle - The Fortress

To get the Mythic Striker Bust Rifle, you have to beat Doctor Slone in The Fortress. You will face Doctor Slone and many of her IO guards in a constrained environment. Unlike the Gunnar fight, you won't get vantage points in here to take Doctor Slone out easily with a Sniper. Instead, you have to constantly move and deal damage not just to her but also to the IO guards that tag along with her. We recommend using a grenade to do AOE damage or the Anvil Rocket Launcher to take them all out. 

Mythic Thermal Rifle - Command Cavern

To get the Mythic Thermal Rifle, you have to beat Huntmaster Saber in Command Cavern. This is arguably the hardest boss battle of them all, and we recommend going for Huntmaster Saber in Duos or Trios mode. 

Enter from the top of the airship in Command Cavern to find Huntmaster Saber. Unlike other bosses, Huntmaster Saber can teleport and have spin attacks that will quickly chug away your health. We recommend using a Stinger SMG to do rapid damage from a safe distance.
