New Fortnite x Marvel Comic Line In The Works, Say Leaks

Epic Games could be set to release yet another Fortnite collaboration with Marvel, this time through another comic line. According to recent leaks, the new comic line is set to be called "Order Restored" and could be released later this year.

The rumors come via Shiina on Twitter, alongside user Unusual and their local comic book store. Epic Games had previously stated in 2022 that another entry into the Fortnite comic book line would be coming this Summer. Previously, Fortnite collaborated the Marvel to release the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War series. The plot centered around characters on the hunt for the Zero Shard.

The comic books were available in both print at select comic book stores, and digitally via the Marvel Comics app and Marvel Unlimited. Fortnite players were also able to earn themselves some cosmetics, each one linked to the release of an issue. The release schedule, and the respective issue's in-game cosmetics were as follows:

• Issue #1 — June 8, 2022: Spider-Man Zero Outfit
• Issue #2 — July 13, 2022: Iron Man Zero Wrap
• Issue #3 — Aug. 17, 2022: Wolverine Zero Pickaxe
• Issue #4 — Aug. 31, 2022: Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War Spray
• Issue #5 — Sept. 28, 2022: Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War Loading Screen

Players who claimed all five in-game cosmetics also received a bonus item in the form of an additional Outfit. Not every item available in the collection was exclusive, with many items being amde available to purchase from the in-game Item Shop at a later date.

Is Fortnite Getting Another Marvel Comics Series?

At the time of writing, it's unclear whether the new Fortnite x Marvel comic series will follow a similar release schedule as before, or if each issue will once again have cosmetic tie-ins. Neither Epic Games or Marvel have yet to formally announce the series, or its intended release date. 

It's worth reiterating that the collaboration is merely a rumor at this time. The release may be subject to change, or not launch at all. 

If you purchased the previous collection, but have yet to redeem your codes for cosmetics, the codes are still valid. Codes from standard retail issues expire on December 31, 2023 while codes from the hardcover collection expire on December 31, 2024. Codes from digital issues (via the Marvel Comics app and Marvel Unlimited) expire 90 days from when the codes were first accessed.
