Ninja adds Mark Hamill to the growing list of celebrities who have joined him to play Fortnite, with not entirely successful results.

As the most famous Fortnite streamer on the planet, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has broken into the pop culture stratosphere to an impressive degree.

After having teamed up with Drake and Ellen DeGeneres in the past, Ninja has now taught the ways of Fortnite to actor Mark Hamill for a special Xbox promo video.

Despite explaining his history with gaming, Hamill doesn’t quite adapt to the world of Fortnite – with his son Nathan taking the reins instead after battling with the controls.

They also run through some of the features from Chapter Two, with Hamill looking particularly bemused by the fishing feature.

Wrapping up the session, Hamill remarked: “Well I was afraid of something that now has come true which is, now that I’ve played this, I want to play more. I don't have enough time."

Fortnite and Star Wars have collided on multiple promotions this month, after a scene from Rise Of Skywalker aired within the game itself curated by director JJ Abrams.

Lightsabers and skins were also added to the game, shortly followed by Fortnite’s new Christmas update Winterfest

Ninja's promo tour also extends to his first clothing collaboration with adidas Originals, with his first trainers out on 31 December.
