When Is One Piece Coming To Fortnite? Rumored Release Date

Fortnite's anime collaborations have been a huge success for Epic Games, having brought plenty of characters from the most iconic anime and manga series around. We've seen Dragon Ball, Naruto, My Hero Academia, and even Jujutsu Kaisen get the Fortnite treatment. But it seems it's time for one more big hitter to drop onto the battle island — One Piece.

Luffy and co. have been rumored to be heading to Fortnite for some time, but the news from Epic Games has been scarce. Thankfully, some new leaks have emerged that claims the collaboration could be a reality.

When Will One Piece Come To Fortnite?

According to recent leaks, as highlighted by iFireMonkey, The XboxEra podcast recently revealed a list of collaborations that are expected to arrive in Fortnite "in the near future." One Piece was one of the IPs included in this list, suggesting that characters from the iconic anime/manga series could become skins in Fortnite.

At the time of writing, there has been no definitive date set for the rollout of the One Piece collaboration. However, a number of leakers have simply pointed to the collaboration arriving "soon."

What To Expect From Fortnite x One Piece

A One Piece collaboration wouldn't be hard to imagine, given the extensive amount of anime characters already present within the Battle Royale. The series even had a dedicated Fortnite island to tie into the launch of the live-action series.

Should the collaboration exist, we can likely expect a similar rollout to that of Dragon Ball or My Hero Academia. One Piece-themed weapons/items, in the style of the Kamehameha or Deku's Smash, alongside popular characters as purchasable skins. 

Players will also likely have the chance to purchase additional themed cosmetic items, such as Back Blings and Pickaxes.
