Where to find a tank in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Tanks are new vehicles in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 and you'll need to find one for a weekly challenge, here's a guide for where to find tanks in Fortnite.

Where to find a tank in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is currently in full swing. From adding a new Zero Build Mode to bringing the Chloe Kim bundle to the items, there has been a lot going on in the battle royale.

Week 2 Chapter 3 Season 2 quests are now live as well, one of which requires you to travel 300 metres in a tank. New in Chapter 3 Season 2, tanks have been added to freshen up the gameplay. Follow along here for a guide to finding a tank in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.

Tanks are pretty easy to find in Chapter 3 Season 2, and you will usually find one in most of the notable named regions of the map. At the time of this writing, you will find a tank in The Daily Bugle, Rocky Reels, Condo Canyons, Tilted Towers Coney Crossroads, Command Cavern, and The Fortress. Given their size, they are quite easy to spot, though you may have a tough time getting into one. This is because tanks are usually heavily guarded by IO members.

IO members also ride the tank and will start shooting missiles as soon as they notice you. It's best to approach one as soon as you land since there's a possibility that you will find one abandoned.

We found an abandoned tank in Condo Canyon in a place where there weren't any IO members around.

If you're lucky enough, you can easily snag a tank at Condo Canyon, though make sure you're carrying a Repair Torch since you will find a few IO members at the exit who would try and take out the tank's wheels first and foremost.
Once you have found the tank, and are far away from the IO members' line of sight, it becomes easy. Simply travel around for 300 metres to complete this week 2 challenge and earn 20,000 XP in the process.
