Where Is Sunswoon Lagoon In Fortnite? Map Location

Fortnite's summer event for 2023 is in full swing. As part of Summer Escape, players can complete a variety of quests to earn themselves free rewards and cosmetics, alongside precious XP to help with Battle Pass completion. While there are new items to find, like the return of ice cream cones, and other event-specific features, one element has left players scratching their heads — the location of Sunswoon Lagoon.

As part of 14 Days of Summer/Summer Escape event, Epic Games has added a new area to the Fortnite map called Sunswoon Lagoon. Plenty of the event's quests will have players performing various actions around Sunswoon Lagoon, but its location is a little hard to come by. It's a very small area, and one that isn't labelled on the map by default. As a player, you'd be forgiven for thinking that this year's summer-themed area is somewhere near the coast. Actually, it's nowhere near. Below, we'll pinpoint exactly where you'll need to go to find Sunswoon Lagoon.

Where To Find Sunswoon Lagoon In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

Sunswoon Lagoon can actually be found within the map's jungle biome. It's location is directly left of Creeky Compound. The reason it's so hard to find immediately is because it's not a named location, but rather a landmark. 

If you're looking to complete as many of the Summer Escape quests as possible over the course of the event, then you'll inevitably find yourself heading to Sunswoon Lagoon. It's not as big or as vibrant as past summer event locations, but it features plenty of chests and summer party-themed items. 

Given that there will be a number of quests to complete at this location throughout the event, expect the tiny location to get overpopulated with opposing players. While it could be a dangerous place to head to immediately after jumping from the Battle Bus, it's a great place to start earning some early eliminations.
