Where to find coolers and ice machines in Fortnite

Fortnite's Season 3 Chapter 1 continues with the addition of new seasonal challenges for players to pursue. With Winterfest 2021 now officially over, a lot of fans must be wondering when the next big update will arrive in Fortnite.

Thanks to a new leak, the next Fortnite update isn’t far and could add new twists to the new Fortnite Season 3 Chapter 1 map. A dynamic weather system including massive storms, as teased in the Season 3 trailer, could finally be making its way to the game. 

Until that happens, players have a lot of seasonal challenges to complete. One such challenge requires players to search for five coolers or ice machines in the game. Here's our guide to finding them.

Coolers and ice machines locations in Fortnite

Coolers and ice machines in Fortnite are pretty much everywhere on the map though there are few places where players can find them in abundance. The desert section of the map, which includes areas Rocky Reels, Condo Canyon, and Chonker's Speedway, has plenty of them. Interestingly, it makes sense that the desert will have more coolers and ice machines than the snow-capped areas. 

If players happen to land anywhere outside of the desert area, they can usually find coolers and ice machines outside of gas stations. Not every single gas station has them, so it's better to keep an eye out for one while passing by. Since a lot of players will be looking out for these coolers and ice machines, you should try and find them as soon as the match begins so as not to come across looted ice machines.
