Where to find Timber Pines in Fortnite

Timber Pines are required to complete a seasonal challenge in Fortnite. Here’s where you can find them.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 1 continues as new challenges appear for players to complete. Players logging into Fortnite this week will notice the missing festivities as the game's winter-themed event, Winterfest, has now officially concluded.

Post-Fortnite's Winterfest 2021, players should have plenty of new skins in their inventory, including the Krisabelle and Polar Peely Skin. While the Spider-Man: No Way Home and Gear of War bundles are not available anymore, players can still snag the Cobra Kai bundle. Fortnite's week five challenges are now also live, with one particular challenge proving more tricky to complete than the rest. Here's our guide on finding and completing the Timber Pines challenge in Fortnite.

Players have to find and knock five Timber Pines to complete this particular seasonal challenge. The challenge list doesn't indicate where players will find Timber Pines in Fortnite's Season 3 Chapter 1 map, which makes things more confusing. Thankfully, finding Timber Pines isn't as difficult as it may seem.

The only location that vaguely resembles the term "knocking down trees" in the new Fortnite map is Logjam Lumberyard, and this is where players will find Timber Pines in abundance. Players may come across more Timber Pines in the other North-Western location of the map, but they will find enough in Logjam Lumberyard to finish the challenge.

It's fairly easy to distinguish Timber Pines from the regular trees in Fortnite. They are the tallest ones around with relatively lighter trunks. Players can take them down in a matter of seconds using their pickaxe.

There are also rumours swirling about a new update coming to Fortnite in the coming weeks, which will add dynamic weather effects to the game. Epic Games have yet to officially confirm the news, but fans might not have to wait much longer to find out.
