Forza Motorsport Featured Rivals (January 2024): All New Rivals Events

Forza Motorsport has a variety of gameplay modes for players to explore and begin their motor-racing adventures around the world. Their Builders Cup is the game’s revamped career mode; while offering multiple multiplayer options like Featured Multiplayer and Rivals, the latter sees them competing for the fastest lap time on various race tracks.

Players looking to secure bragging rights by being the King or Queen of the race tracks can anticipate the new events coming to Rivals in-game. We’ve listed all the available Rivals events and arriving soon to Forza Motorsport.

4th January 2024 Update: This guide reflects that the Featured Track – Hockenheim, the VIP – Nocturnal Predator, and Aston Martin Rivals events have begun and are available to participate in Forza Motorsport. The original reporting continues below.

All Rivals Events For Forza Motorsport (January 2024)

Rivals are a unique game mode where players compete against the best driver on a specific track available in Forza Motorsport. The best driver can be your friends or a random player within their region or globally online, where they’ll be competing for the best lap time, which could be added to the Featured Leaderboards.

Depending on the type of Rivals event, players can bring their car with car performance upgrades installed and tuned for the best possible performance on the race track. Additionally, certain Rival events will have specific requirements like Car Class entry, in which players can only bring cars within that class to compete.

In terms of frequency, there is at least a new Rivals event occurring in-game weekly, which has a Spotlight Car and its featured race track. Rivals has three event types, Open Time Attack, Featured, and VIP, each featuring multiple playlists with their events to participate in.

VIP Rivals events are only available to VIP Membership players, with the Premium Edition and Premium Add-On Bundle for Forza Motorsport. Open Time Attack allows players to bring their car with the upgrades and custom tuning to compete in head-to-head track action with a Rival car.

With Update 3.0 now available, the new race track Hockenheim Circuit will be available for the Time Attack events, and future race tracks will also receive the same treatment. Lastly, the Featured Rivals are limited-time events that could be Car Class or manufacturer-restricted and have a featured race track.

Forza Motorsport is available for Xbox Series X|S, PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam and through Xbox Game Pass for console, PC, and Cloud Gaming as of 10th October 2023.
