Forza Horizon 5 Temple of Quechula: location, XP board, Accolades and more

Forza Horizon 5’s map is massive, dynamic and filled with impressive sights to behold. There are plenty of historical and ancient ruins and structures to race in and around, but there are just a few that are linked to various achievements, Accolades and challenges.

One of these ancient structures is the Temple of Quechula, which has proven to be a challenge on its own. In this Forza Horizon 5 guide, we’ll be outlining more about this elusive temple, where to find it and rewards players can earn.

Temple of Quechula location and how to get there

The Temple of Quechula is one of the game’s more hard-to-reach landmarks due to its accessibility and the game’s dynamic weather and seasons.

The temple can only be accessed at certain times of the year plus to make things extra hard, there’s an XP board awaiting players at the temple’s summit.

The Temple of Quechula is located east of the Sierra Verde Dam, southwest of the Cordillera region. Due to its proximity to the Casa Belle house in Mulegé, players can make use of the Fast Travel feature if they are too far away from the temple’s location.

Depending on the season and time of year, the temple is either nearly or partially submerged which can make driving up the temple almost impossible. If players attempt to travel to the temple during the summer season, the river will make it impossible to drive as you can risk your car sinking and force respawning at a nearby road.

But once players have reached the temple’s location, they will notice two dirt ramps on either side of the temple which can be used to reach the XP board at the top of the temple.

How to reach Temple of Quechula XP board and accolade

If you thought locating the temple was slightly tricky to accomplish, there is an XP board located at the top of the temple. However, it does take some elbow grease and plenty of off-roading to reach the temple’s summit but getting there is the hard part.

As mentioned before, an off-road car would be best-served here but do ensure that you have installed off-roading tyres for better handling. There are two routes players can take to reach the top of the temple, however, both routes would require waiting for the river to be at its lowest position.

The first route will place players at the dirt ramp to the north of the temple. While this route does come with quite the steep incline (hence why an off-roading car is best for this), you do need to pick up some speed if you need to reach the XP board.

The second route requires more speed than off-roading so if you have an off-roading car with high speed and acceleration stats, like the 2020 Ford #2069 Bronco R “Welcome Pack”. Nevertheless, players will take the opposite direction, the south side of the temple and keep their foot on the acceleration as you pick up speed before launching off the ramp to reach the XP board.

If you’re still having a tough time reaching the XP board, we recommend checking out the tutorial video by MrWilliamThor on how to reach this particular XP board as well as other XP boards in Forza Horizon 5. However, if you have reached the top of the temple, ram your car into the XP board for a cool 5,000 XP for your efforts.

A bonus tip is that there’s an Accolade nearby for which players can acquire en route to the temple. Travel north from the Super7 event on the map before heading northwest onto a piece of land near the temple. Here, players can unlock some Accolades which can be viewed by going to the campaign menu and searching for Accolades to view the complete list.
