Everything Revealed About Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup 2024

The new season for one of the biggest Genshin Impact events, Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup 2024, has been announced by HoYoverse. This year, more players will be able to participate in it and the tournament will be divided into Atlantic and Pacific zones. 

You will be able to participate in Genius Invokation TCG online events for about 5 weeks in your zone, depending on your location. After that, the top players will battle in the final showdown that will be held offline with each zone featuring different prizes and finalists.

Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup 2024 Zones & Wild Card Registration

Here are the regions that will compete in Atlantic and Pacific zones:

• Atlantic: Europe and America
• Pacific: Asia and HK/MO/TW

Players can register for Wild Card competition where they will get the last chance to qualify for the tournament.

The Wild Card competition will consist of online duels only. Participants who successfully register and complete any match will receive a reward of
Primogems x160.

Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup 2024 Stages & Schedule

Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup will consist of three stages: Wild Card, Regular Season, and Knockout Stage. The Wild Card stage is open to all players who meet the eligibility criteria and register for the tournament. It will follow best of three single-elimination format, where players will compete in groups based on their region and language.

The top 8 players from each zone will advance to the Regular Season, where they will join 24 players who have been selected from the Cat’s Tail Gathering community events. The Regular Season will be a round-robin format, where players will be divided into 4 groups and play matches for about 5 weeks.

The top 8 players from each zone will then proceed to the Knockout Stage, where they will face off in a double-elimination format, culminating in a best-of-five final to determine the champion of their zone.

• Atlantic Region Competition Dates: 04/26 — 04/28
• Pacific Region Competition Dates: 05/17 — 05/19

Regular Season

• Atlantic Region Competition Dates: May — June
• Pacific Region Competition Dates: June — July

Astra Carnival: The Prince Cup 2024 Prizes

The Prince Cup 2024 will feature a prize pool of $60,000 for each zone and you can find the distribution for each rank below:

• Champion: 16,000 USD
• 2nd Place: 8,000 USD
• 3rd Place: 5,000 USD
• 4th Place: 3,800 USD
• 5th — 6th Place: 2,400 USD
• 7th — 8th Place: 1,600 USD
• 8th — 16th Place: 1,200 USD
• 17th — 32nd Place: 600 USD
