With the 4.5 update arriving soon, let's look at all upcoming, current, and past Character Event Wish banners and all new and returning characters for Genshin Impact.

Genshin Impact boasts a diverse and colorful roster of playable characters, further assisting the Traveler in their journey across Teyvat. With over 70 playable characters and more to come through continuous updates, many of these characters can be acquired from the Banners using Intertwined Fates. 

As Travelers can look forward to plenty of content updates launching this year, they can anticipate new playable characters and banner reruns in 2024. Below, we've carefully detailed all the Character Event Wishes for 2024, including new and returning banners, event schedules, and more in Genshin Impact.

1st March 2024 Update: We've updated this guide to confirm that Xiao and Yae Miko's banners will begin on 20th February 2024 for Genshin Impact's 4.4 update. The original reporting continues below.

Genshin Impact Character Event Wishes (March 2024): All New And Returning Banner Reruns

2024 aims to be yet another incredible year for the action RPG Genshin Impact, as the game has reached the halfway point of its Fontaine patches. With plenty of characters awaiting their turn in-game and more lore to explore in the final game updates launching in the following months.

As we look to the future of Genshin Impact, especially in 2024, let's look at the upcoming Character Event Wish banners and those that occurred previously with their featured characters, new and returning, and their banner schedule for Genshin Impact:

Genshin Impact 4.5 Update Banners

  • Phase 1 Banners: Chiori and Arataki Itto
    • Banner Date: Immediately following the 4.5 update on 13th March 2024
  • Phase II Banners: Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha
    • Banner Date: TBA

The 4.5 update will see plenty of banner reruns occurring alongside the debut of a new playable character, Chiori, who'll be featured in Phase 1 with a rerun for Arataki Itto. During the second phase, Neuvillette and Kaedehara Kazuha will gain banner reruns; however, dates for these banners have yet to be announced.

  • Phase 1 Banners: Nahida and Xianyun (with Gaming)
    • Banner Date: Immediately following the 4.4 update on 31st January 2024 to 20th February 2024
  • Phase II Banners: Xiao and Yae Miko
    • Banner Date: 20th February to 12th March 2024

The brand new four-star character Gaming will be making his in-game on the Character Event Wish banners in the 4.4 update. He'll be appearing in the first phase alongside Nahida and Xianyun, gaining a boosted drop rate on both banners.

  • Phase I Banners: Kamisato Ayaka and Navia
    • Banner Date: 20th December 2023 to 9th January 2024
  • Phase II Banners: Raiden Shogun and Yoimiya (with Chevreuse)  
    • Banner Date: 9th to 30th January 2024

The Pyro Polearm character, Chevreuse, has made her in-game debut and will be featured in the flagship event, Roses and Muskets. She'll be appearing alongside Raiden Shogun and Yomiya as she'll be gaining a boosted banner drop rate on both banners for the banners' duration.
