Genshin Impact 2.2 banner schedule: Thoma, Hu Tao and Tartaglia release date

The latest update for Genshin Impact, Version 2.2: Into the Perilous Labyrinth of Fog, will add new playable characters to the game’s current impressive roster. Thoma, Hu Tao and Tartaglia were confirmed during the recent Special Program livestream however, what remains to be revealed is which banner they will be participating in – the first or second banner?

With each banner, typically lasting around three weeks before the next banner arrives, each character banner or Event Wish will run concurrently with a Weapon banner. Here’s all the confirmed news on the current and upcoming banners for Genshin Impact's 2.2 update.

Tartaglia will be getting a rerun in Genshin Impact as he was unveiled as the first event wish preview banner during the Special Program livestream. A Hydro user, Tartaglia wields an Adaptive Bow whose Elemental Burst fired elemental-charged arrows dealing Hydro DMG while applying Riptide. Additionally, he deals massive Hydro DMG to surrounding enemies while in melee stance.

Appearing in the “Farewell of Snezhnaya” Event Wish, Tartaglia will be one of the 5-star event wish preview banners appearing in the 2.2 update.

Another character banner rerun will be arriving in the 2.2 update. Hu Tao will be getting a rerun, appearing in the “Moment of Bloom” Event Wish. Another 5-star character banner, Hu Tao is a Pyro user whose elemental burst deals a fiery spirit dealing Pyro DMG in the surrounding area.

Joining Hu Tao in the same event wish preview is the brand new character, Thoma. Another Pyro user, Thoma will receive a massive drop-rate boost throughout the “Moment of Bloom” Event Wish.

These event wish banners will be included in the 2.2 update arriving on 13 October 2021.
