What to know about Genshin Impact 2.5 Yae Miko Story Quest

The Genshin Impact 2.5 update, "When the Sakura Bloom," will feature two new Story Quests, effectively expanding upon the history of the Inazuma region. As confirmed by developer miHiYo, the Raiden Shogun will be receiving the next act in her character arc, as well as the game's next playable character, Yae Miko.

The Shrine Maiden has previously appeared in multiple Story Quests and Archon Quests; however, this time, she'll be venturing with the Traveler in her first act. We'll be looking at the upcoming Story Quest, when it will be released and how Travelers can unlock it.

Genshin Impact Yae Miko story quest guide – Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I

Currently, there isn't much information about the upcoming Story Quests arriving in the 2.5 update; however, the developer shared a few minor details during the Special program live stream.

Yae Miko's "Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I" Story Quest will be officially released on 16th February 2022, alongside the Raiden Shogun's second Story Quest.

From what we gathered during the 2.5 Special Program live stream, the Traveler and Yae Miko would "cross paths" to find some truth to an "urban legend" circulating in Inazuma.

This quest will continue from the Raiden Shogun's "Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act II", which is required to unlock Yae Miko's Story Quest.

Similarly to the Raiden Shogun's Story Quest, the "Divina Vulpes Chapter: Act I" will explore Inazuma's history, current state, and future in Genshin Impact. This was first explored in the Inazuma Archon Quests and the "Imperatrix Umbrosa Chapter: Act I" Story Quest.

The developer is doing a tremendous job of expanding the mysterious history of Inazuma in these respective Story Quests and their connections to the Inazuma storyline.

Given her long-standing relationship with the Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko will provide much-needed insight into the secrets revolving around Inazuma.

Nevertheless, the Raiden Shogun will have a massive presence in the 2.5 update, including the Story Quests and Character Event Wish banners. Additionally, events from the Raiden Shogun and Sangonomiya Kokomi's Character Event Wish banners will be tied into the story and events in the 2.5 update.
