Genshin Impact 2.6 update is just around the corner and the fans can't wait for it to arrive after a boring patch 2.5. The update will bring brand new characters, weapons, quests, region and more to the game along with a bunch of bug fixes and optimizations.

HoYoverse will be organising a livestream on 18th March 2022 to reveal all the upcoming content officially and distribute three redeem codes offering free Primogems, Hero's Wit, and Enhancement Ores. Without any further ado, let's jump into the complete details of Genshin Impact 2.6 update.

Genshin Impact 2.6 update is expected to release on 30th March 2022 at 11 pm PT / 2 am ET / 7 am BST but we will get the confirmation regarding this in the special program.

 

HoYoverse will take the in-game servers down for maintenance for a few hours to push the update out and players will be given free Primogems as a compensation reward. In addition to this, the patch will be available to pre-install on all the platforms a few days before its official release.

As per the Genshin Impact 2.6 leaks, Ayato will be available as a playable character along with Venti in the first character banner of the update and in the Phase II banner, players might get a chance to pull Ayaka and Kazuha. All of these characters are fan favourites so it's time to save your Primogems if you want one of them.

 

In addition to this, The Chasm region will also get unlocked as confirmed in the Genshin Impact 2.5 special program. Just like other regions, The Chasm will bring a brand new boss which is a different type of Ruin Guard known as Ruin Serpent. 

 

Last but not least, you will see some improvements in Yae Miko's abilities and the party loading speed that will save time for the players.
