Genshin Impact The Chasm marks the next location Travelers will finally get to visit in patch 2.6, which had previously been inaccessible. The location boasts a trove of rare and mysterious gems and minerals and unique soil and vegetation sprawling in its surrounding areas.

In addition to that, you will encounter new bosses and enemies when exploring this mysterious cavernous area along with various new creatures living there. Let's look at the fearsome threats and organisms arriving in Teyvat for the Genshin Impact 2.6 update.

With the introduction of The Chasm arriving in the Genshin Impact 2.6 update, there are two new bosses that Travelers will encounter during their exploration of this area.

Ruin Serpent was first showcased during the Genshin Impact 2.5 Special Program Livestream and is the most notable boss to expect at The Chasm.

It is an ancient, autonomous machine that will create Oozing Concretions to draw power from them during the battle. This will unleash massive damage-dealing attacks under certain circumstances.

Travelers can use the Blooming Light from their Lumenstone Adjuvant to destroy the Oozing Concretions to save themselves from the attacks and knock Ruin Serpent out of this state.

Windcutter is a guard of some standing in the court, as per HoYoverse. When this boss hits a character defended by shields, they will obtain buffs at the cost of their HP.

You can have a look at Windcutter's gameplay in the video uploaded by zZero on YouTube.

Genshin Impact - New creatures in The Chasm

The Ruin Serpent and Windcutter aren't the only new addition Travelers will find at The Chasm. There are four new creatures that roam around the location, and here are the details about them.

Bluethunder Weasels live underground within the mining tunnels and cavernous depths of The Chasm with a unique blue sheen on their fur. You will be able to catch them using the Omni-Ubiquity net.

These creatures will absorb energies of strange stones in the Chasm to emit a dim light. They are considered a good omen, hence known as Lucklight.

Miners love Lucklight Flies, and Travelers will be able to capture them using Omni-Ubiquity Net just like the Bluethunder Weasel.

It is a fungus whose hat is similar to a five-pointed star. Travelers will be able to consume it to restore a certain amount of HP of the selected character.

HoYoverse has not announced much information about them; however, we will be getting more details in the Genshin Impact 2.6 patch notes that will be arriving in a few days.
