The information for the next Genshin Impact update has already started circulating all over the internet, and if you want all of that in one place, you have come to the correct place. However, the catch is that there will not be a patch 2.9, and HoYoverse will directly jump to a 3.0 update.
The patch will bring new content to the game, including a new region, characters, weapons, quests, and much more. We have listed all the details of the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, including its release date, livestream schedule, and leaks below.
Genshin Impact 2.9/3.0 update release date
Genshin Impact 3.0 update is arriving on 24th August 2022, which was confirmed during the Special Program livestream. The developer also detailed information on the next updates, which will release every five weeks until the release of the 3.3 update.
Genshin Impact 3.0 leaks
We will be getting a new area called Sumeru in the 3.0 update and HoYoverse has confirmed it officially with a teaser during the Genshin Impact 2.8 special program livestream.
In addition to this, the long-awaited Dendro element characters will debut as playable characters. As per the leaks, this includes 5-star Tighnari, 4-star Collei and Dori.
You will be able to collect Dendroculus to upgrade the Statue of the Seven in Sumeru. Last but not least, new Sumeru themed namecards will also be launched in Genshin Impact 3.0 update.
