Genshin Impact 3.0 – All Sumeru Puzzles And Solutions

Genshin Impact 3.0 update will include new gameplay mechanics and game features that Travelers can utilize in-game. These features will significantly assist them when they find puzzles within various locations when exploring the Sumeru region.

Naturally, solving these puzzles requires tremendous ingenuity and knowledge of the region; and will also unlock fantastic rewards for Travelers' efforts. We'll be looking at the new puzzles and how to solve them when adventuring in the Sumeru region in Genshin Impact.

How To Solve Stone Pillar Seals In Genshin Impact

Together with the Withering Zones, Stone Pillar Seals are a new puzzle mechanic Travelers will discover across Sumeru, but they serve a useful purpose. This type of Stone Pillar entraps nearby ruin enemies, which Travelers need to release to defeat them.

This can be done using a Pyro attack, in which Travelers will need a Pyro character in their party on the Stone Pillar to negate the energy trapping them. Once the seals are broken, release them before engaging in combat with the Ruin enemy.

How To Solve Strange Energy Extraction Device In Genshin Impact

Travelers can locate another puzzle mechanic within campsites belonging to the Eremites. The Strange Energy Extraction Device is an extractor requiring a set of keys found throughout multiple rooms within the camp.

Once Travelers have found all the keys, they can use them to shut down the extractor; however, it's only the first piece of the puzzle. After that, waves of Eremite enemies will be alerted to the extractor being shut down and attempt to keep it activated.

Therefore, Travelers must defeat them to prevent the Eremite enemies from continuing to use the Strange Energy Extraction Device. They'll also need to do so within a specified time to ensure the deactivation process is completed.

It's unclear how many Eremite camps will populate the Sumeru region and whether they'll vary in difficulty. Similarly, it's underdetermined if they'll drop rewards when solving the Strange Energy Extraction Device, and as such, we'll endeavor to provide more updates once more reliable information is available.

The Genshin Impact 3.0 update, "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings," releases for PlayStation consoles, mobile devices, and PC via the Epic Games Store on 24th August 2022.
