Genshin Impact: List of upcoming events (May 2021)

miHoYo introduces different events in Genshin Impact to keep the players engaged and offer them a chance to earn a bunch of free rewards in the game. Meanwhile, they have announced the upcoming events in the game along with the offered rewards. Players will have to reach the required Adventure Rank and complete the required tasks or missions of a particular event in order to its rewards.

Genshin Impact Upcoming Events

Here is the list of all the events coming to the Genshin Impact 1.5 update:

Windtrace Event

In Windtrace Event, travellers will have to participate in a game of Windtrace at Gygax’s in order to receive the event rewards.

• Event duration: 14th May (10:00) to 24th May (03:59)
• Eligibility: Adventure Rank 20 or more
• Rewards: Primogems, Event Namecard ‘Celebration: Peekaboo!’, Character EXP Materials, Mora and more

Battlefront: Misty Dungeon Event

In this event, travellers will need to assemble a team with the specific trial characters available and then challenge six trials with different themes.

• Event duration: 21st May (10:00) to 31st May (03:59)
• Eligibility: Adventure Rank 20 or more
• Rewards: Primogems, Hero’s Wit, Talent Level-Up Materials and more

Event Wish Born of Ocean Swell

During this event wish, the drop rates of event-exclusive 5-star character ‘Dance of the Shimmering Wave’ Eula (Cyro) and the 4-star characters ‘ Blazing Riff’ Xinyan (Pyro), ‘Juvenile Galant’ Xingqiu (Hydro), and ‘ Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean’ Beidou (Electro) will be highly increased.

• Event duration: 18th May (18:00) to 8th June (14:59)

Event Wish Epitome Invocation

During this event wish, the drop rates of event-exclusive 5-star weapon Song of Broken Pines (Claymore), 5-star weapon Aquila Favonia (Sword) and 4-star weapons Sacrificial Sword (Sword), Rainslasher (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Sacrificial Fragments (Catalyst) and Rust (Bow).

• Event duration: 18th May (18:00) to 8th June (14:59)

Aphros Delos Chapter Story Quest

Players will first have to unlock the Aphros Delos Chapter quest by completing the Archon Quest ‘Prologue: Act III - Song of the Dragon and Freedom’. After that, they will have to use the Story Key to unlock Eula’s Story Quest ‘Aphros Delos Chapter’.

• Quest duration: Permanently available after 18th May (18:00)
• Eligibility: Adventure Rank 40 or more

Mimi Tomo Event

During this event, players will have to complete the investigation of ‘Unusual Hilichurl’ to obtain the event rewards. 

• Event duration: 27th May (10:00) to 6th June (3:59)
• Quest duration: 6th June (04:00) to 8th June (3:59)
• Eligibility: Adventure Rank 20 or more
• Rewards: Liyue-style Furnishing Blueprints, Primogems, Hero’s Wit and more

Overflow Mastery Event

Travellers will receive double outputs during the event if they successfully challenge Talent Level-Up Material Domains and consume Original Resin to obtain rewards.

• Event duration: Permanently available after 18th May (18:00)
• Eligibility: After activating Talent Level-Up Material Domains
