Genshin Impact Parametric Transformer gadget: How to get and use

The Parametric Transformer is one of the many gadgets in Genshin Impact that players can obtain by completing a world quest. Players can use it for converting unused materials into random items, including talent level-up materials, character and weapon ascension materials, and a few other things.    

In this guide, we will talk about how to get and use the Parametric Transformer gadget in Genshin Impact. We will also walk you through the quest that rewards you with the Parametric Transformer gadget. 

How to get Parametric Transformer gadget 

Players can get the Parametric Transformer gadget as a quest reward for completing the world quest Tianqiu Treasure Trail. 

Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest guide 

Tianqiu Treasure Trail is a world quest in Genshin Impact that players can trigger by talking to Lan in Liyue Harbor — granted, the players are at adventure rank 31 or above, and they don't have any pending quest that involves Lan. 

Once players start the Tianqiu Treasure Trail quest, they have to go to a marked location and defeat a few Hilichurls. After the short skirmish, players receive a treasure map that points towards Dunyu Ruins.  

Go to Dunyu Ruins and look for a camp with broken pillars in the vicinity. On one of those pillars, you will find a pile of books and scrolls. Scrounge through the items, and you will obtain a Strange Note.

Next, players have to visit three spots to find the treasure. Thankfully, the locations are marked on your map, and you can approach them in any manner.

At each marked location, you have to explore the search area for a dig prompt. It pops up when you are standing atop a treasure. All three locations will give you an exquisite treasure chest. Once you have discovered all three treasures— return to Lan.  

It will mark the end of the quest, and you will receive your Parametric Transformer gadget.

How to use Parametric Transformer gadget 

To use the Parametric Transformer gadget, first, players have to put it on the ground and feed 150 materials to it. Once that is done, players have to use elemental attacks to boost the transformation process. 

When the gauge showing the progress is at 100%, you will receive the converted materials.
