Genshin Impact Potions guide: How to get and brew

Much like eating rations and meals and learning how to cook them, the same can be said for brewing potions. With the vast lands readily available, travellers can harvest ingredients and materials required to make the potion/s they need.

These potions have a variety of applications and purposes; however, primarily used to aid travellers and their party. The Genshin Impact potions guide details all the available potions travellers will come across, their effects and rarity, as well as the recipes to make them.

Genshin Impact potions list and recipe

For travellers to start brewing their potions, they will need access to an alchemy table which can be found throughout Teyvat. Once travellers are at an alchemy bench and have the necessary ingredients and materials for their potions, can they start the brewing process.

Desiccant Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Butterfly, x1 Lotus Head

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Hydro RES increase by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Dustproof Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Butterfly, x1 Cor Lapis

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Geo RES increase by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Flaming Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Frog, x1 Flaming Flower Stamen

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Pyro DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Frosting Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Lizard Tail, x1 Mist Flower Corolla

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Cyro DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Frostshield Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Crystal Core, x1 Mist Flower Corolla

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Cyro RES increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Gushing Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Lizard Tail, x1 Dandelion Seed

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Anemo DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Heatshield Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Butterfly, x1 Flaming Flower Stamen

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Pyro RES increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Insulation Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Butterfly, x1 Electro Crystal

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Electro RES increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Shocking Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Frog, x1 Electro Crystal

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Electro DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Streaming Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Frog, x1 Lotus Head

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Hydro DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Unmoving Essential Oil

• Ingredients: x1 Frog, x1 Cor Lapis

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Geo DMG increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Windbarrier Potion

• Ingredients: x1 Crystal Core, x1 Dandelion Seed

• Rarity: three stars

• Effect: Anemo RES increases by 25% for all party members for 300 seconds

Travellers are to remember that the potion effects cannot be stacked. Instead, if a second option is used, the effects of the previous potions are nullified.
