How to complete "The Entrance to Tokoyo" subquest in Genshin Impact

The adventures in Enkanomiya has just begun for Travelers that had started their journey to Genshin Impact's latest area. After entering this area through the waters of Sangonomiya Shrine, they land in a cavern beneath Watatsumi Island into a world unfamiliar yet eerie.

Starting your investigations into the history of Enkanomiya, a series of World Quests will help uncover the mysteries behind this area. In this guide, we detail how to unlock the next World Quest in Genshin Impact and complete and earn rewards from "The Entrance to Tokoyo" subquest.

How to unlock the From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku World Quest?

This World Quest is the first quest set in Enkanomiya after obtaining a key and unlocking the entrance to the area in previous World Quests. As Travelers will be continuing their investigations of this unknown area, they will need to meet specific requirements before starting this quest.

The prerequisites for the "From Dusk to Dawn in Byakuyakoku" World Quest are as follows:

• Reach Adventure Rank 30 or higher
• Completed the Archon Quest "Chapter II: Act III - Omnipresence Over Mortals"
• Completed the World Quests "The Moon-Bathed Deep" and "The Still Water's Flow".

This particular World Quest continues the quests mentioned above as it picks up after dropping into a cavern and locating a Teleport Waypoint. This World Quest, which primarily focuses on exploration and learning more about the area's history, is divided into two parts:

• "The Entrance to Tokoyo"
• "The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent"

How to complete The Entrance to Tokoyo subquest?

This quest will activate after Travelers have completed "The Still Water's Flow" World Quest, which uses the Teleport Waypoint as its starting point. Continuing their investigations of Enkanomiya, initial reports suggest that there may be no signs of human life in this new location.

Continue exploring the cavern until they see a fairly large gate with markings inscribed around the entrance. They will have to find the corresponding markings somewhere in the cavern marked off on the minimap.

After finding and interacting with every marking, return to the large gate where they will see a cube mechanism that needs to be activated to open the gate. While the gate opens, there is a slightly hidden path behind the gate, which leads to another mechanism.

Locate the Key of the Deep, acquired from "The Moon-Bathed Deep" World Quest, in their Inventory and place it in the mechanism to unlock the next door. As they step out beyond the door, the brightly-lit tower at Dainichi Mikoshi lights up Enkanomiya as this subquest concludes.

What are the rewards for completing The Entrance to Tokoyo subquest?

After completing the "The Entrance to Tokoyo" World Quest, you will earn the following rewards:

• Adventure EXP ×200
• Primogems ×30
• Hero's Wit ×2
• Mora ×20,000

Additionally, they can unlock the "Flowing Sunfire, Also Known as Marishi" Wonders of the World achievement. To earn this achievement, Travelers must open the large gate, known as Sunfire Gate, at the beginning of this subquest and earn yourself five Primogems.
