Setekh Wenut is a desert-based world boss released in Genshin Impact patch 3.4. While traversing through the area, players may experience incremental physical damage from creatures called Wenut as they attack. The damage is minimal but can be very annoying if you don't deal with these enemies quickly.
This new world boss is an upgraded version of the Wenut, being much larger in size and dealing much more damage. Setekh Wenut can be farmed for certain characters' ascensions (such as Alhaitham), meaning it pays to understand where to find this boss and how to beat it.
This article will explain how to find and beat Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact.
How to Find Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact
Setekh Wenut is located in the Wenut tunnel in the Desert of Hadramaveth. It's relatively simple to find this world boss. All you will have to do is teleport to the waypoint south of the Setekh Wenut marker on your map. After teleporting, you should be able to see a hole in the distance.
Make your way over to the hole and glide down. You should find yourself in a sandy area with a glowing green aura at the bottom. Continue downward, and when you approach the circle, Setekh Wenut should appear ready to be battled.
How To Beat Setekh Wenut In Genshin Impact
Setekh Wenut is your generic tank and spank boss. There are no major strategies that you need to look out for; avoid his damage as much as possible while simultaneously dishing out a ton of your own.
Approximately halfway through the fight, Setekh Wenut will rise from the ground and spawn several Windbite bullets. Players should destroy two of the Windbite Bullets using Elements strong against Anemo (such as Cryo, Pyro, etc.). Using Elements like Geo and Anemo, for example, will have no effect. After you take out two of the Windbite Bullets, Setekh Wenut will collapse to the ground allowing you to damage it freely. Make sure you take out these bullets as soon as possible, as failing to do so will result in a powerful ultimate ability coming out from Setekh Wenut.
It is recommended to use long-range characters to tackle this fight, as the Windbite Bullets are located in the air. Use characters with bows or who can deal damage over a long range to take out the airborne Windbite Bullets.
And that's everything you need to know about how to find and beat Setekh Wenut in Genshin Impact!
