How To Unlock Hydro Traveler In Genshin Impact

With the release of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, you can unlock Hydro Traveler bearing Hydro abilities, and here's how to do it.

Genshin Impact 4.0 update has brought the Hydro region, Fontaine, to the game, and with that, you will also be able to unlock Hydro Traveler. So if you don't have any Hydro character in your team and you want to add one, you will get Hydro Traveler for free to do so.

In addition to this, you will also be able to utilize their Pneuma energy to defeat the enemies in an easier way, solve puzzles, neutralize mechanisms, and more. Here's how you can unlock Hydro Traveler in Genshin Impact.

The very first step of unlocking Hydro Traveler is to unlock Fontaine, and you can do it by completing Archon Quest Prologue: Act Ill "Song of the Dragon and Freedom," if you haven't already. After that, the Teleport Waypoint that has been unlocked for Travelers on the northeast side of the Realm of Farakhkert will get unlocked. Activate the Teleport Waypoint, and from there, you will have to ride the Waverider to arrive in Fontaine.

Once you arrive at Fontaine, you will see the Statue of the Seven in front of you, and all you have to do is interact with it. Once you do, equip Traveler and interact with the Statue of the Seven again, and you will get an option to Resonate with Hydro. Select it, and the Traveler will get Hydro abilities.

However, you need to keep in mind that you will get C1 Hydro Traveler, and to upgrade them, you will have to get all of their constellations. You can do it by completing quests, upgrading the Statue of the Seven, opening chests, and more.
