Genshin Impact Windblume's Breath Event Guide: Date, Rewards, More

Genshin Impact 3.5 update is set to launch on March 1, and the main event of the patch will be the "Windblume's Breath." It will be a "festival of unparalleled romance" that will take you back to Mondstadt and has been quite popular among the players who have been playing the game for quite some time now.

HoYoverse has announced that this time, Tignari, Cyno, and Collei will also join Traveler in the event. Here are all the details about Windblume's Breath event in Genshin Impact, including its start date, rewards, gameplay, and more.

Genshin Impact Windblume's Breath Event Guide

The start date of Windblume's Breath event is not known yet, but it is expected to begin right after Genshin Impact 3.5 update gets available. Collei will play an important role in the event's storyline, and after she arrives in Mondstadt, she finds a mysterious prophecy in a book. Their job is to complete all four pieces of prophecy to light the "Lantern of Utmost Joy" and receive a supreme blessing. 

We don't know how exactly how we can complete the quest as the event has not started yet, but HoYoverse has revealed that along with the quest, we will have different game modes that we can play. These include Floral Pursuit, Ballads of Breeze, and Breezy Snapshots, and here is what they will be about:

Floral Pursuit

In this mode, you will have to collect Bloom Balloons continuously to gain score, and after you have collected a certain number of balloons, the next area will unlock automatically. After reaching the final area, collect the specified number of balloons, and a Ring of Pursuit will appear. Interact with it to leave the area and complete the challenge to earn rewards.

However, it is not as easy as it sounds. While playing, you will also encounter multiple Ersatz Balloons that will follow you, and if anyone of them catches you, you will lose one Pursuit Point. The exciting thing about Floral Pursuit is that you will be able to play it alone and also with your friends in co-op mode. 

Ballads of Breeze

In this game, you will be able to select the instrument of your own choice. You will then be asked to hit the keys/notes as shown on the screen when they fall on the "Decision Line." Based on your timing of hitting notes, you will score points, and you will then be placed under a rank, and you will earn rewards accordingly.

Players can also create beatmaps and edit them as they like to create new tunes and show off their creativity. 

Breezy Snapshots

In this event, you will be given "Photography Targets," and you will have to use Kamera gadget to take the photos by going to the target's locations to earn rewards.

Upon completing Windblume's Breath event, you will also receive the exclusive 4-star weapon, Mailed Flower, for free. We will update this page once the event begins with additional information, so make sure to keep an eye on it.
