For the first time in the series' history, Grand Theft Auto 6 will reportedly feature a female protagonist. This unnamed protagonist will be of Latina origin and will be joined by one other character in a story inspired by the bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.

Unlike past Grand Theft Auto games, Grand Theft Auto 6's world and the story will also be more sincere towards the marginalized communities, with the developers being more cautious about making jokes and derogatory maneuvers in the game, something that we on full display in past entries.

It seems the early concepts included large expanses of North America and South America, but for various reasons, the development team took to making a  more grounded Grand Theft Auto experience.
