Halo Infinite will release on December 8, limited edition Xbox Series X announced

Halo Infinite finally has a release date, revealed at Gamescom, the first-person shooter will launch this upcoming 8th December for both Xbox consoles and PC.

The 343 Industries shooter was initially set for simultaneous release alongside the Xbox Series S and Series X in 2020, however, a controversial delay saw the game pushed back to 2021, with a fall release targeted as a best-case scenario.

Despite the lengthy delay, Halo Infinite will release without a co-op campaign and Forge at launch, with the devs shifting their focus to polishing the multiplayer and single-player campaign experience.
