OpTic aPG confirms FormaL was dropped from FaZe Halo Infinite roster

Former Call of Duty pro player Matthew "FormaL" Piper has been dropped from the FaZe Clan Halo Infinite roster ahead of the Halo Championship Series in Raleigh, according to OpTic aPG.
According to Halo esports pro Bradley "aPG" Laws, former Call of Duty pro player Matthew "FormaL" Piper has been dropped from the FaZe Halo Infinite roster seemly out of nowhere, ahead of the HCS Kickoff Major Raleigh on 17th December. This shocking news came days after FormaL announced his "top 3" team of veteran Halo pros.

Several sources confirmed FaZe Clan's original Halo roster on 16th November, including Halo pro player Paul "SnakeBite" Duarte, who echoed FormaL's signing with DreamHack champions Jesse "bubu dudu" Moeller, Michael "Falacated" Garcia, and Adam "Bound" Gray to compete at the Halo LAN event in Raleigh.

However, on 19th November, during a Twitch livestream, aPG confirmed FormaL's dismissal in response to a comment in his Chat. "Did he really get dropped? Yeah, FormaL did get dropped," aPG said.

Followingly, fans proceeded to ask "who formaL got dropped for," but aPG shot down the comments and declined to answer. "I'm not going to tell you," aPG said.

aPG continued to say: "But, I remember when I got off last night, I walked through to his setup, and he said 'can you believe I got dropped?'" before responding to a different question in Chat about how he wipes his own a**.

Although aPG was reluctant to share more details regarding FormaL's dismissal, it is devasting to hear, especially considering that he only recently confirmed joining the team.

Just three days ago, FormaL told his Twitch chat that he "got kind of blessed" to join the FaZe Clan Halo Infinite roster, citing that he heard that "they're like a top-three team."

Indeed, the news comes as a massive shock; however, we are confident that FormaL will not have any issue finding another team ahead of the HCS Kickoff Major Raleigh.

At the time of writing, neither FormaL nor FaZe have released an official statement. However, we will endeavour to provide further updates regarding this developing story.
