How To Obtain Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts Legacy

There are mainly two ways to find Stench of the Dead in Hogwarts. The first option is directly buying it from J. Pippins Potions in Hogsmeade. Each unit of Stench of the Dead costs approximately 1000 Galleons, so players must ensure they have enough funds to make the purchase.

Alternatively, players who are low on funds can obtain Stench of the Dead for free by defeating Inferius in Hogwarts Legacy. Inferius is one of the monsters found wandering around graveyards, particularly near Keenbridge town. It is located south of the map, and players can reach this location quickly using a broom or teleport feature.

It is worth noting that the Inferius monsters are challenging to defeat. Players will require powerful spells such as Incendio or Confringo to confront them. Once the monsters are defeated, players can collect the Stench of the Dead from their bodies and use it to craft the Thunderbrew potion.
