 Avalanche Software has made it clear that upon launch, players won't be able to play Quidditch matches as the popular sport isn't included in Hogwarts Legacy. This decision is seemingly connected to the game's main story as it was banned by the current Hogwarts headmaster, Professor Black.

Despite this, many players still hold out that the sport will be included in a DLC later on, which may have some plausible evidence it could be the case. In particular, you can find the Golden Snitch in Hogwarts Legacy, which has made itself a home in Hogwarts Castle. Here's where you can find it.

Elusive and shining gold, the famed Golden Snitch has become synonymous with the Wizarding World series and the sport of Quidditch, which has gained immense popularity globally. While many players are disappointed that they won't be able to catch the Golden Snitch when playing Quidditch, you can still find the object hidden somewhere at Hogwarts.

To begin your search for the elusive Golden Snitch in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll need to start The Room of Requirement quest, for which you're tasked with locating and exploring this location. When arriving at the location, wait until Professor Weasley lets you explore the room, for which you'll need to find the area by the red floating lanterns and remove the chairs.

Doing this will open space where the Golden Snitch to fly right past you. Listen to the sound of the Snitch and follow it towards a puzzle with boxes left of the megaphone and move the box inside the space. Entering this space sees boxes blocked off, for which you'll need to use Accio and Levioso spells to eventually hop over and find the Golden Snitch itself and chests to loot.

Can You Catch The Golden Snitch In Hogwarts Legacy?

After it reveals itself to you, in which you'll find hidden loot nearby, you may wonder if you'll be able to catch the Golden Snitch like in Quidditch. Unfortunately, the Golden Snitch serves its purpose as a compass to help navigate hidden chests and loot within the Room of Requirement.

As mentioned, many believe the sport is to be included in the game's DLC but have yet to receive confirmation from the developer and its publisher, WB Games. So, for now, the Golden Snitch remains within The Room of Requirement until the ban is lifted at Hogwarts.
