You’ll learn how to do it in one of the first fights of the game, meaning it’s one of the game’s most fundamental mechanics. In almost every fight in Hogwarts Legacy, it is to your benefit to lock on to an opponent if there is more than one fighting against you.
All you need to do to lock on in Hogwarts Legacy is to turn toward an enemy until they are highlighted. When the enemy is highlighted, you can press R3 to lock on and begin attacking. Once you’re locked on, you’ll be attacking strictly that enemy during that turn. If you want to switch to another enemy, just use the right stick to choose between them.
