How to Use Multiple Save Slots In Hogwarts Legacy

One of the useful features of Hogwarts Legacy is the option to save multiple checkpoints throughout the mysterious journey. In fact, in a recent Tweet, WB Games Support confirmed that the game will have four separate characters lots.

For each new character, the game will have the following two types of save functionality and slots: five autosave slots and 10-player manual save slots. So if you don't want to lose your progress, here's an ultimate guide to using multiple save slots in Hogwarts Legacy.

Here are the steps to manually save the game and utilize the vacant save slots in Hogwarts Legacy:

  1. Open the pause menu in Hogwarts Legacy
  2. Navigate to the "Save/Load and Exit" menu.
  3. To save their game, select "Save Game".
  4. To load a previously saved game, select "Load Game".

The save game menu in the game presents players with multiple save slots, allowing them to store their save files and keep track of multiple versions of their progress. This can be beneficial for experimenting with different quest or challenge approaches or revisiting specific parts of the game. However, it's important to note that manual saving may not be possible during critical moments in missions or battles.

Luckily, Hogwarts Legacy does have an autosave feature. As the name suggests, the autosave system has been designed to automatically save the player's progress after obtaining a new item, completing a quest, or engaging with a non-playable character. The autosave system guarantees that the player's progress will never be lost and will be stored on the cloud servers.

So there you have it. That's everything you need to know about using multiple saves in Hogwarts Legacy. Before leaving, take a moment to peruse our spellbinding review of Hogwarts Legacy.
