Hogwarts Legacy Percival Rackham Trial Puzzle Solution

The main story of Hogwarts Legacy is largely about completing four trials and learning the mystery of the powerful ancient magic. The first trial, which is called Percival Rackham's trial, has some tedious environmental puzzles and a daunting boss battle in the end.

How to Solve Percival Rackham’s Trial Puzzles in Hogwarts Legacy

There are two challenging puzzles in the Percival Rackham trial, in which you must traverse back and forth from an archway to move objects and clear the path ahead.

Percival Rackham trial bridge platform puzzle solution

Your first major obstacle in the Percival Rackham trial is where you have to use both sides of the Archway to get a floating platform to the other side of the bridge. The archway serves as a parallel world of sorts. The bridge does not exist in the other world, so you have to pass the floating platform through the Archway and bring it to the other side of the bridge.

Once you have done that, go back through the Archway in the world where the bridge exists and climb it. Cast Accio on the floating platform, which is now on the other side of the bridge, and use it to reach the next room.

The second and final Archway puzzle in the Percival Rackham trial is near the end of the quest, right before you encounter the boss battle. You will find yourself in a cave-like structure with an Archway sitting in the middle of it.

Activate the ancient magic pool and climb the floating platform nearby. Go to the left-hand side of the Archway, and you will see another platform on the other side. Cast Accio on that platform from this side so that it's right next to the Archway. 

Now go back to your original floating platform and use Accio to position it in such a way that you can jump through the Archway and onto the floating platform on the other side. Doing so will let you reach the next room.
