While spells are essential for aspiring wizards or witches, potions are just as important. These concoctions can provide powerful boosts to spells or protect you from enemies, making them an essential tool in your arsenal. In fact, if used correctly, potions can make you somewhat overpowered in the game.
However, acquiring ingredients for potion-making can be challenging, especially if you don't know where to find them. Where To Find Every Potion Ingredient In Hogwarts Legacy
Hogwarts Legacy features six potions, each with unique effects and ingredients. For instance, the Focus potion reduces spell cooldown time, the Maxima potion increases spell damage, the Invisibility potion makes the drinker invisible, and the Thunderbrew potion creates a storm around the drinker, stunning and damaging nearby enemies. Other brews include the Edurus potion, which makes you invulnerable to attacks, and the Wiggenweld potion, which heals you.

Each potion requires 2-3 ingredients, comprising plants you can forage, plants you can grow and harvest, and monster loot (found in monster lairs). In the case of harvestable plants, you can purchase their seeds from The Magic Neep or Dogweed and Deathcap in Hogsmeade and grow them in Potting Tables with either Small, Medium, or Large Pots (the recipes for each can be acquired from Tomes and Scrolls in Hogsmeade).

As a useful tip, you can force new forageable ingredients to spawn by advancing time. Staying in the same vicinity, open your map and then advance the clock a few times. After waiting, you'll find that the forageable ingredients for your potions will respawn! Another useful tip is to forage ingredients as you explore the map on your broomstick.
