How To Find Venomous Tentacula In Hogwarts Legacy

This particular item is part of the requirement for completing Professor Garlick's Assignment 1 side quest, which you'll also need to learn to use it. You'll need to locate the Dogweed and Deathcap plant shop in Hogsmeade, where you can purchase the item from the shopkeeper, Beatrice Green.

You may either buy the Venomous Tentacula seed packet for 1,050 Galleons for later use or the Venomous Tentacula plant for 600 Galleons, but you may sell items to the shopkeeper if you're strapped for cash or use our guide on how to farm Galleons fast. Once you've made the purchase, you'll need to equip and cast the Venomous Tentacula to complete the assigned task.

This also means you must do the other task that requires you to buy and use Mandrake against multiple enemies. To officially complete the Assignment side quest, head off to Herbology Class in the daytime to start the day's lesson before returning to Professor Garlick to inform her that you've completed her Assignment.

She'll then instruct you how to execute the Wingardium Leviosa Spell before unlocking the Spell for you to use. This concludes Professor Garlick's Assignment 1 side quest as you've successfully learned a new Spell that you can use in your explorations which can help levitate and move around objects, especially when completing puzzles.
