Honkai Star Rail is no stranger to difficult boss battles, and players will need to utilize all of the skills acquired on their journey in order to emerge victoriously. Cocolia is the final boss of the Jarilo-VI storyline and can be tricky to take down for unprepared Trailblazers.

Players will need to defeat Cocolia in order to progress the main storyline, but this is easier said than done. How To Beat Cocolia In Honkai Star Rail

The Cocolia boss fight is broken up into two stages. Additionally,  the Trailblazer must be deployed as a member of your team for this battle, meaning players will need to invest some of their resources into powering up the main character. 

We'll break down the best strategies for each of the Cocolia boss fight phases. 

Phase 1

During the first phase, the Trailblazer will be in their Physical Destruction form. This phase is fairly straightforward and shouldn't be too difficult to complete. All players must do is hit Cocolia and reduce her HP while keeping their party members healthy with heals. 

Phase 2

Phase 2 is where the boss fight really starts. After a short cutscene, the Trailblazer will be transformed into their Fire Preservation form. Cocolia will also revive with one additional health bar (two in total for the second phase). Here are some tips for taking down this more difficult Cocolia form. 

• Weaknesses: Cocolia is weak to Fire, Lightning, and Quantum element attacks. The fire element is already covered thanks to the Trailblazer, but try to bring party members to cover the other types as well. 
• Taunt: Cocolia will periodically lock onto characters and subsequently perform a powerful attack. Use the Trailblazer's skill to taunt Cocolia into attacking them and brush off the damage thanks to the additional shield. 
• Save your combat bonus: During this fight, players will be able to call in help from a giant robot to beat down the enemy. Cocolia will also regularly summon ice shards which deal chip damage to party members. It is usually recommended to save the robot's attack for when these shards spawn in order to deal with them as quickly as possible. 
• Team recommendations:
  • Bronya: To cleanse the stun debuff.
  • Seele: Strong Quantum damage. 
  • Bailu: Heals and Lightning damage. 
  • Serval: Strong Lightning AOE damage.
