Honkai Star Rail Reveals New Four-star Character Luka

Luka is a four-star Physical Element character that will most likely be arriving in Honkai Star Rail 1.2. Much like Yukong's addition to Honkai Star 1.1, it appears a brand-new four-star character will be arriving with each patch's standard two five-star characters. Here is the short description HoYoverse has given for Luka:

Luka - An optimistic and carefree fighter with a mechanical arm. Skilled in mixed martial arts and is a Wildfire member. From the fight cage to the battlefield, and from a fighter to a warrior, Luka uses his strength to protect the people of the Underworld. He wishes to bring hope to others precisely because he had experienced despair himself.

Because the accompanying image of Luka sees him in a boxing ring, it is likely that Luka will be a damage dealer of sorts. However, we will have to wait for official confirmation before we know exactly what kind of damage dealer he will be. 

That being said, it is likely that Luka will follow the Path of Nihility. This is because his accompanying Light Cone, Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat, is a Nihility-based Light Cone with the following effect:

Resolution Shines As Pearls of Sweat: When the wearer hits an enemy and if the hit enemy is not already Ensnared, then there is a 60% base chance to Ensnare the hit enemy. Ensnared enemies' DEF decreases by 12% for 1 turn(s).
