At the time of writing this, Honkai Star Rail has yet to confirm a Lunar New Year event. However, it is very likely that an event will be coming to the game in some shape or form. Genshin Impact often has Lunar New Year events every year, so it would be surprising if Honkai Star Rail did not. 

Therefore, we speculate that the Honkai Star Rail Lunar New Year event will be released in late January 2024 to coincide with the Genshin Impact event. Genshin Impact's Lantern Rite event is confirmed to be released in patch 4.4 on January 31, 2024. Lunar New Year will occur on February 10, 2024. This means that Honkai Star Rail's Lunar New Year event may occur sometime between January 31, 2024 and February 10, 2024.
