Honkai Star Rail Mini Neutron Bomb: How To Get and Use

Honkai Star Rail is no stranger to filling the Trailblazer's inventory with strange and unique items. There is tons of incentive for players to wander off the beaten path in Honkai Star Rail, and completing sidequests, interacting with NPCs, and rifling through garbage cans is some of the most fun content in the entire game! There is a ton of hidden content and plenty of Easter Eggs that players can uncover simply by taking a break from the main story and exploring the world of Honkai Star Rail.

One of the most interesting (and possibly world-ending) of these items is the Mini-Neutron Bomb. This is a strange item to receive, especially because there is no immediately obvious use for the item in-game. How To Get The Mini-Neutron Bomb In Honkai Star Rail

As mentioned, rifling through other people's belongings, storage crates, and literal garbage is heavily incentivized in Honkai Star Rail. There are plenty of rewards and unique items to pick up in doing so. Presumably, this is meant to give life to the world of Honkai Star Rail while also raising several millions of eyebrows every time an item like the Mini Neutron Bomb is obtained. 

To obtain the Mini Neutron Bomb, head to Xianzhou Luofu and teleport to the upper left portion of the Central Starskiff Haven area. Head left up the stairs, and you should encounter some boxes. Interacting with them will net you the Mini Neutron Bomb, which is now permanently placed into your inventory and cannot be removed.

How To Use The Mini-Neutron Bomb In Honkai Star Rail

At the time of writing this, it is currently unknown how to use the Mini Neutron Bomb or what purpose it serves in Honkai Star Rail. The description of the Mini Neutron Bomb explains that the player should throw the item into a large body of water, but there are no locations that accurately match this description in the game (at least for now).

Presumably, the Mini Neutron Bomb will be used in a future content update as part of a quest.  However, if we have to wait for an entirely new planet before finally getting to use the Mini Neutron Bomb, you may be walking around with a WMD in your back pocket for quite some time.
