Honkai: Star Rail will be available for pre-installation before its global release, and here is how you can pre-install it on Android, PC, and iOS.
How To Pre-install Honkai Star Rail 1.0

Honkai: Star Rail is all set to release on April 26, bringing brand new mechanics into play, new characters, enemies, and more. The first update that will be available will be patch 1.0, called "The Rail Unto the Stars," and players can already pre-register for it to earn some free rewards like Star Rail Pass ×20 and the 4-star character Serval (Erudition: Lightning) ×1. 

Apart from this, Honkai: Star Rail will be available to pre-install before its global launch so that players can download the majority of the data files in advance to save time and jump straight into the game after its release. Here is when Honkai: Star Rail pre-installation becomes available and how you can pre-install it. 

How to Pre-install Honkai Star Rail on PC, iOS, & Android

Honkai: Star Rail is available to pre-install on PC, Android, and iOS, and you can do it by downloading the launcher from the links below.

Once we have done that, you will have to launch it, and you will get the option to pre-install the game.

Click on it, and the game files will start getting downloaded. After that, once the game launches, you will have to open the launcher again to install the rest of the files before jumping into the game.

However, before you consume so much of your data, make sure that you have enough space to install Honkai: Star Rail properly and that your system meets the minimum requirements.

PC: Intel® Core™ i7 Processor, 8 GB of RAM, discrete graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or better).

  • 8 GB of RAM
  • Discrete graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 or better)

Android

  • Snapdragon 855, Kirin 990, Dimensity 1000, or better.

iOS

  • iPhone: iPhone XS, iPhoneXR, or better.
  • iPad: Apple A12 processor or better (October 2018 model or later)
  • iPad operating system must be iOS 12 or later. macOS is currently not supported.

Minimum configuration

PC

  • Intel® Core™ i5 Processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • Discrete graphics card (Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or better).

Android

  • Snapdragon 835, Dimensity 720, Kirin 810, or better.

iOS

  • iPhone: iPhone 8P, iPhone X, or better.
