The Xianzhou Luofu is no exception, and players have already met a bunch of new faces, including Jing Yuan, Fu Xuan, Tingyun, and more. 

However, while journeying through the Xianzhou Luofu, players may have come across the name Yingxing. Very little is known about this name or the mysterious figure it is attached to.

Who Is Yingxing In Honkai Star Rail?

There are snippets of information surrounding this mysterious figure if you look hard enough. 

When playing through the Trailblaze Mission "A Dragon Gallant, Its Ocean Distant," players will be able to interact with the ethereal spirits of several bygone High Elders. These spirits speak of Yingxing in a very casual manner, as if they themselves know this person. 

Yingxing is implied to be the previous name of Blade, who has since gained immortality thanks to the power of the Abundance. It is stated that Blade stayed in the Xianhzhou Luofu to hone his swordsmanship and study the crafting of weapons. 

Blade traded his life to become a weapon and likely experienced his real death all that time ago in the Xianzhou Luofu. Players can learn more about Blade's past by reaching level 80 with him. 

Unfortunately, very little concrete evidence or confirmation is available to either confirm or deny this. Additionally, not much more information surrounding Blade's past is currently available in the game.
