Horizon Forbidden West was the highly anticipated sequel to Guerrilla Games' Horizon Zero Dawn. As a PlayStation first-party title, Horizon Forbidden West was a hot title for fans of Sony's exclusives. The game reunites players with Aloy, a hunter who, having now discovered her own origin, seeks to defend the Forbidden West from a mysterious plague.

Horizon Forbidden West launched on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 back in 2022, and now it seems the action RPG could be the next PlayStation-exclusive title to arrive on PC. Is Horizon Forbidden West Coming To PC?

As of September 27, 2023, PlayStation has announced that Horizon ForbiddenWest will be releasing on PC in 2024. According to PlayStation, Horizon Forbidden West will launch as the Complete Edition, containing the following content:

• Horizon Forbidden West for PC
• Burning Shores DLC for PC
• Digital soundtrack
• Digital art book
• Horizon Zero Dawn Vol. 1: The Sunhawk digital comic book
• In-game items:
  • Extras in Photo Mode (special pose and face paint)
• In-game items unlocked via story progression:
  • Carja Behemoth Elite outfit ·Carja Behemoth Short Bow
  • Nora Thunder Elite outfit
  • Nora Thunder Sling
  • Apex Clawstrider Machine Strike piece
  • Resources pack

Previously, French website Dealabs (which accurately leaks the PS Plus catalogue each month), noted that a listing appeared via the Singapore classification body mentioning a game titled “Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition,” set to be released on PS5. The listing was then removed removed. 

But fans were quick to speculate that it could point to a PC port of Horizon Forbidden West. On Steam, Horizon Zero Dawn is available to purchase as the "Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition." Dealabs doubled down by claiming that "According to our latest information, the Playstation exclusive that will be released on PC is none other than Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition." 

Horizon Forbidden West PC Release Date

PlayStation has announced that Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition will be launching on PC in early 2024. A definitive release date has not been given yet.
