HEROIC and B8 have secured the final two places in the 16-team field for IEM Beijing 2026 after progressing through the closed qualifier. The Chinese CS2 event is scheduled to run from November 2-8 and will feature a $1.25 million prize pool.
B8 progressed through the qualifier after losing just one map across four matches. They reached the upper-bracket final against Nuclear TigeRES and won the series 2-0, sending the Russian squad to the lower-bracket final.
HEROIC had been relegated to the lower bracket by Eternal Fire earlier in the event. They then beat Nuclear TigeRES 2-0 to secure their place in the main event. Ludvig Brollan Brolin posted a 1.38 rating in the match, while Nuclear TigeRES were left without a place at the tournament.
