Clash tournament game mode finally set for release

The long-awaited Clash game mode for League of Legends will finally get its release date, according to the new 2020 trailer from Riot Games.

While the trailer mentions the upcoming week and numerous announcements including details about reworked champions, a new tabletop game and further TFT developments, Clash is one piece of news that the most competitive Summoners will be excited to hear.

Clash is a tournament mode that has been tested previously, with fans able to compete with teams of their skill level in single-elimination matchups biweekly.

Using a Clash Ticket, buyable with 990 Blue Essence or 215 Riot Points for a premium ticket, any player over Level 30 who has completed at least one queue's provisional matches and has SMS account verification can enter a bracket.

Players can submit tickets for other players who are eligible to compete or submit five tickets for a greater reward if victorious against the seven other teams in their bracket.

This mode is quite literally more rewarding than regular Draft Pick or Ranked matches and many have been waiting since the first beta back in 2017 for its official release.

While the date has not been given, news can be expected within the next week according to the trailer. This article will be updated to include this information and any further details that are released at the time.
