Riot Games reveals League of Legends 12.12 Store Update

League of Legends 12.12 update is live now across all platforms. In the latest development, the Riot Games brought another set of balance changes, several of which are continued follow-ups to the 12.10 Durability update. However, the most notable change of the latest patch is the store update.

Accordingly, the developers have unveiled everything about the League of Legends 12.12 Store update, including details regarding Essence Emporium, new Mythic Chromas, Ashen Knight Pantheon, Mythic Shop rotations, and more.

All League of Legends 12.12 Store Update Changes

Essence Emporium

In the latest 12.12 update, the Essence Emporium has returned to the store once again for a limited time. Players can head to the store from 28th June to 12th July 2022 to grab chromas, ward skins, emotes, icons, and more for Blue Essence, including Emporium exclusives like the URFWick skin. However, it’s worth noting that the Essence Emporium is going on hiatus while Riot Games rebuild it.

(New) Mythic Chromas

Players would be glad to know that Riot Games has added a new type of content to the Mythic Shop: Mythic Chromas. It’s available for 40 Mythic Essence, with the first Mythic Chroma for Final Boss Veigar. Besides this, Mythic Chromas modifies a skin's VFX and its model, which Riot Games will launch for Legendary and Mythic skins like the Ashen Knights.

Riot Games will release a new Mythic Chroma every two patches and removes the previous one.

Ashen Knight Pantheon

The Ashen Knight Pantheon variant is finally available in patch 12.12 for 100 ME, followed by a new Mythic Chroma and Icon bundle (40 ME) and a new emote (25 ME). Players interested in buying these items should note that these items will remain in the store until patch 12.17.

Mythic Shop Rotation

Finally, the Mythic Shop is rotating for the first time, and the developers are settling into the normal rotation cadence. Here’s all you need to know about the rotation system:

• Prestige K/DA Kai'Sa, Prestige PROJECT: Irelia, Prestige Spirit Blossom Teemo, Prestige Arcanist Zoe, Prestige Pulsefire Thresh, Prestige Battle Queen Diana, Hextech Annie, and Hextech Amumu are leaving the Mythic Shop

• Prestige K/DA Evelynn (150 ME) and Prestige Pulsefire Lucian (125 ME) are entering the Mythic Shop and will be available during patches 12.12 and 12.13

• Hextech Ziggs (100 ME) and Dreadnova Darius (100 ME) are entering the Mythic Shop and will be available during patches 12.12 through 12.17

• Ashen Knight Pantheon and his accessories will be available during patches 12.12 through 12.17

• Battle Boss Veigar's Mythic Chroma will be available during patches 12.12 through 12.13
