How To Repair Tools & Weapons In LEGO Fortnite

Like most survival games, LEGO Fortnite features a degradation system for weapons and tools. Thankfully, the materials to craft new weapons and tools are abundant, but it's still a hassle having to craft new tools every 10 minutes.

As you level up your Crafting Bench, you'll gain access to blueprints to build stronger and more durable weapons. Naturally, these require rarer materials to build, and they'll still degrade eventually. So, is there a way to repair your weapons and tools to save on the constant material harvesting? 

Can You Repair Tools And Weapons In LEGO Fortnite?

Sadly, no. At the time of writing there is no official way to repair your tools or weapons in LEGO Fortnite. You'll have to gather more materials and resources in order to craft new tools and weapons each time one breaks. To help counter that, we encourage players to always have a back-up tool — be it an axe, pickaxe, or sword — so that you're never caught short.

Of course, this takes up a precious spot in your already limited backpack, meaning you'll have to pack smart if you're heading off on any long excursions away from your village.

LEGO Fortnite Tool & Weapon Repair Glitch Explained

While we mentioned that there is currently no official way to repair your tools of weapons, players have discovered a certain exploit that does allow you to fix your tools. To make use of the exploit, you'll need to follow these steps:

• Place any tools and weapons you want to repair in a small storage chest. You can craft one with 6 Planks.

• Unequip any held items, weapons or tools and hit the storage chest with your bare hands until it breaks. The chest will be destroyed but the tools and weapons within will be dropped, and fully repaired. 

It's clear that this is an unintentional glitch in LEGO Fortnite, so there's no telling how long players will be able to make use of the exploit before Epic Games patches it out.
