With the launch of LEGO Fortnite, there are a lot of people who are jumping into this new game. Although it is heavily advertised as a completely new game, players will still have to launch the original Fortnite to start the game. But this is a completely new experience when compared to the original Fortnite game.

LEGO Fortnite is not a battle royale game. This game is a survival game that can be compared to games like Minecraft. It is a new experience and players are enjoying what they have seen so far. But players are nervous that this is a temporary game mode. So, is LEGO Fortnite permanent? We will go over that question here.

Yes, LEGO Fortnite is permanent. From what we can tell, there is no reason to believe that LEGO Fortnite will eventually go away. There is a new YouTube page for LEGO Fortnite, a new Twitter page, and a lot more social media for this title. At the very least, LEGO Fortnite will be around for a very long time.

The main thing that would potentially bring down LEGO Fortnite is the LEGO Group leaving its partnership with Epic Games. But that does not seem like that will happen anytime soon. Both companies have stated that they are planning for a long-term partnership with each other. So fans of this new game have nothing to fear for now because LEGO Fortnite is here to stay.

Is LEGO Fortnite A Limited-Time Game Mode?

No, LEGO Fortnite is not a limited-time game mode. From what has been advertised, LEGO Fortnite is supposed to be a stand-alone game. It is not tied to regular Fortnite other than the skins. Although it is confusing, players should be treating LEGO Fortnite like it is a completely separate game from the original.

This is true even though LEGO Fortnite can only be launched within normal Fortnite. There is a chance that if Fortnite is eventually shut down, LEGO Fortnite will go away as well. But seeing as that is very unlikely, LEGO Fortnite is here to stay. Eventually, it may even get its own game launcher which will help separate the two titles.
